Oluwabamigbe Remi AJAYI is a distinguished and multifaceted professional whose career spans through education, social work, agriculture, writing, and ministry. With a robust academic background and extensive professional experience, Remi has made significant contributions in various fields, demonstrating a deep commitment to community development and personal growth.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Agriculture and a Master of Science degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from both Obafemi AWOLOWO University, Ile-Ife and Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti respectively.
Furthering his passion for education, he pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), equipping himself with the skills and knowledge to influence the educational sector effectively. This diverse academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping his multifaceted career.
Remi's professional journey is marked by significant roles that reflect his versatility and dedication. He had attended several Training Institutes and short courses in social services, as a Social Worker and Community Mobilization Officer, he had demonstrated his commitment to community development and empowerment, addressing social issues and mobilizing resources for the betterment of the society.
He formerly served as the Director of Schools in Ekiti State where he had overseen the administration and improvement of schools, fostering an environment conducive to learning and development.
He is presently serving at Ekiti State Civil Service as an Executive Secretary, Schools Agriculture and Enterprise Agency. Here, Remi has integrated his expertise in agriculture with education, promoting agricultural education and enterprise among students, and preparing them for sustainable futures.
Beyond his administrative and educational roles, Remi Ajayi is an accomplished writer and author. His works reflect his deep understanding of social dynamics and his passion for sharing knowledge.
As a social researcher, he focuses on issues that impact society, offering insights and solutions through his writings.

And where our name “Ekiti” is derived.

As we woke up to a wonderful sun rays one day.
A day so bright and offers a new era and opportunities
The good people of Ekiti woke up,
To the cheering news of the state creation
Sonorous news to the hearing,
And the State erupted into a joyous ecstasy,
It was a tall dream came into fulfillment.
It was time for the workers to leave their land of sojourn.
To their promised land, land of Honour, the state of our own was birthed.

Even when the tide is high, the relenting spirits of Ekiti forges on,
It was a journey to wholeness and undaunted courage and perseverance.
We knew the journey might not be smooth from the beginning,

We remained unmovable, unbroken, and unshaken with hope as a guide

Characters that shape our identity as our undaunted spirit hums our anthem.
